Sneaky Pete Says:

The Flowermate V5 Nano is a great new portable, discrete, and powerful vaporizer from Flowermate.  It improves on every aspect of the Mini and adds new features to increase the functionality and vapour quality.  The vaporization now comes from a mixture of convection/conduction for increased efficiency, and the 18650 battery that powers the vape is removable and replaceable.  The oven is made from a unique black ceramic, and it can arrive at temperature in as little as 30 seconds.  This inexpensive vaporizer packs in a lot of features, including a bright OLED screen, single degree temperature adjustment, and a vibration motor. The glass mouthpiece stores securely in the body itself, making this a perfect travel portable from Flowermate.

FM nano is a good little device

It's a good little device for carrying around. Definitely not my dd but when I go out it does the job very well. Gets a little too hot above 400 degrees but for the price I'm ok. If I want a longer session or using with a buddy the nano does not cut it, and I need to use something a little better. Build quality is good and makes for a good portable at a low cost.

Oh so close......

I love the Flowermate. And IMO all it’s features but one is perfect. But that one is the most important. The problem is the resistence is so tight I can’t get any real vapor out of it. And I can see no way to increase the air flow. I’ve tried putting one of the screens on top of the bud, and that does help keep the sticky bud out of the mouthpiece, but doesn’t help enough to be satisfactory. I also tried increasing the temp to 390F and putting less bud in the chamber, a more course grind, but all this didn’t help either. Until there is a fix for this, I’ll stay disappointed. And of course, it will get little use. P.S. Also, I do think the batteries would work for a whole day if you hit it only around 8 or 10 times (heating sessions).

Happy with V5 Nano

I've had the V5 for about a month now and I'm really pleased. It heats up in less that 45 seconds, and I appreciate the mouth piece stowing in the body for portable use. The case is a bit slippery, so keep a good grip. Turning it on requires multiple rapid button clicks, which is sometimes challenging. Maybe the unit is saying "I'm cutting you off if you can't manage 5 quick clicks." In shopping for a new unit, I really appreciated the thorough product reviews and videos at Sneaky Pete. The instruction manual was OK, but it was quite helpful to watch the 10 minute video while first figuring out how to lock and load.

Not terrible... but not great

I wanted to wait until I had this vaporizer for at least a few months before I contributed my opinion on this V5 Nano, and after receiving it for my birthday in August and using it a dozen times, I have to say this vaporizer is "ok". The build quality of this thing feels pretty solid, maybe a slight hint of low quality with the plastic cover on the front that displays the digital info; the glass is nice, the hard plastic feels durable, and it has a nice weight to it. The battery life is laughably bad. Off of a full charge that takes hours, I can get maybe 2 uses (2 filled up "bowls" worth of herb) out of it before it dies. For a PORTABLE vaporizer, I find this pretty underwhelming. I wonder if this due to my initial charge of the device's battery when I first opened it, because I let it charge about half way before I tried it out, and then set it back to charging. Of course I almost immediately read in the manual not soon after that something along the lines of letting it charge 100% the first time before using it. But I can't help but think this is just how the battery is... Luckily for me, I mainly use this at home, so if it does die I'm able to use something else and let this charge. It also says not to leave it charging past when it's full... but... really? The battery is that temperamental? Anyways... The flavor factor, of which I was really curious about and looked forward to, will depend on what you put in it. The first type of **** I put in it tasted pretty bad, but the second strain was better. Usual rule of thumb; if it smells bad/weird, it will definitely taste that way when vaped. Cleaning it is a pain, but I guess cleaning a bong or pipe isn't fun either. Luckily a little isopropyl alcohol and a light scrub brings it back to brand new condition everytime. If it seems like I'm only complaining and you're wondering why I'm not giving this 1 or 2 stars out of 5, it's simply because I do like using this vaporizer. It's easy to operate and vaping feels cool and is very enjoyable. I like using things that seem "high-tech", and although this isn't really one of the higher end vaporizers, it still feels like a high tech gadget. Overall I'm still happy with it. More so I'm happy with Sneaky Pete and his stellar customer service. He recommended this to me via a YouTube comment and is really good about replying to his fanbase. Also he has great taste in music and how can I argue with that?
