Cap Armor is a precision-machined stainless steel sleeve designed to snap over a compatible DynaVap Captive Cap, adding serious thermal mass and heat retention to your setup. How to Use
Install: With your Captive Cap on an assembled device, gently press the cap into Cap Armor until you hear an audible click.
Remove: While the cap is installed on a tip, brace your thumb on the digger-outer against the tip, then gently wiggle and pull Cap Armor off. Do not push from the top to separate—this may dent the cap.
Notes
Because this is a press-fit design, minor dents or impressions on the upper crimp of the Captive Cap are possible. This is normal and will not affect function of either part.
